Château Corton Grancey 2016
Burgundy - Corton - Grand Cru - Red Wine -Château Corton Grancey 2016 is an exceptional Grand Cru produced by Maison Louis Latour in the Corton appellation, in Burgundy. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, Château Corton Grancey 2016 has a beautiful deep robe with garnet reflections. The nose releases aromas of cassis and liquorice. The palate is full and complex with aromas of black fruits, licorice, chlorophyll and woody notes. A very long finish with a lot of freshness.
Château Corton Grancey 2016 has a good potential grade (10-15 years).
The advice of 12bouteilles: To serve between 16 ° C and 18 ° C, we advise you to open at least 1/2 hour before serving. It will be perfect with a duck or a good coast of grilled beauf. "Château Corton Grancey" is produced only on the best years.
"Grancey" was the name of the last owners of the Château located on the "route des Cortons", before the Latour family bought it in 1891. This great Burgundy wine comes from a blend of four Corton Grand Cru climates from Domaine Latour, whose proportions can vary depending on the vintage. The average age of the vines is over 40 years old.
