Burgundy - Bourgogne Rouge - Red Wine -This Bourgogne Rouge ‘Cuvée Latour’ 2019 is a 100% Pinot Noir red wine produced by Maison Louis Latour.
This wine is made from grapes from little-known areas of the southern Côte d'Or, as well as small plots in Dantenay and Auxey-Duresses. The result is a Pinot Noir typical of the Côte de Beaune.
Tasting notes:
Colour: a lovely dark ruby colour.
Nose: discreet nose of red fruit and spices
Palate: round, fresh and well-balanced, with aromas of liquorice and blackcurrant.
The 12bouteilles advice : With an ageing potential of 2-3 years, this red Burgundy is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats and mature cheeses. Serve between 14°C and 15°C.
The wine is vinified and matured using traditional fermentation in open vats, followed by 100% malolactic fermentation.
