M.Chapoutier : "Les Granits" Saint-Joseph red 2021
Rhone Valley - Saint-Joseph - Red Wine -Les Granits is an organic red Rhône wine produced by M.Chapoutier in the Saint-Joseph appellation. Produced from the oldest Syrah vines in the heart of the appellation on granite terroir, the grapes are harvested by hand at very high ripeness. Slow fermentation in small concrete vats, long maceration and only free-run wine is used in this plot selection. The wine is aged in barrels for 16 to 18 months.

The nose gives off aromas of very ripe black fruit jam, with smoky and mineral notes
On the palate, there are smoky and peppery notes, a good aromatic length with tight tannins and a long finish.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served between 16°C and 18°C, it will perfectly accompany a parma ham, a beef fillet or a Hare à la royale.
