This Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay 2020 is a great Australian white wine, 100% Chardonnay produced by the Penfolds estate. The grapes chosen for this Cuvee are from different cool climate regions of Australia: Tasmania, Adelaide Hills and South Australia. Aged for eight months in French oak barrels, it undergoes light filtration to preserve all its aromas.
Tasting notes:
The robe: pale yellow colour
The nose: complex and fresh, with aromas of white fruits (peach, nectarine) as well as notes of grilled dried fruits, nougat
The palate: mineral, lively with fruit aromas and citrus notes
The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served cool, between 9°C and 10°C, this white wine will perfectly accompany white meats and poultry. It can be appreciated now or in the years to come.
