Penfolds RWT Bin 798 2022

Barossa Valley - Red Wine -

The initials RWT stand for "Red Winemaking Trial", of course today it is no longer a "trial". RWT Shiraz Bin 798 was launched in the 2000s by Penfolds, Bin 798 was attributed to the wine of the 2016 vintage.
Its style is opulent and fleshy, contrasting with Grange. This RWT Bin 798 Shiraz 2022 has nothing to envy its predecessors, it is a wine from the Barossa Valley and is made from fruit that is mainly selected for its aromatic qualities and soft texture.

Tasting notes :
Dress : Beautiful deep garnet-red color, brilliant and patinated.
Nose: Reveals a fruity aromatic bouquet (raspberry) with a touch of chocolate, hazelnut and licorice.
The palate: Balanced, deep and long, we find the aromas of red and black fruits present. The tannins are silky and give a smooth texture.

The advice of 12 bottles: A wine with good ageing potential, to be drunk or kept in the cellar until 2050, it will go perfectly with a duck breast
