Bin 169 Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb Australian red wine produced by the estate Penfolds in the Coonawarra region in Australia
The 2018 vintage is an exceptionnal one, ready to drink right now.

is intense red, deep
The nose gives off notes of black fruit (Blackberry, black cherry)
The palate, very characteristic of cabernet expresses notes of ripe fruit with silky, fine tannins, then notes of dark chocolate, cedar and lovely length on the finish.

This BIN 169 perfectly reflects the Penfolds "house style" through the lens of cabernet sauvignon. Bin 169 retains a secure place among Australia's finest Cabernets.

The wine was matured in French oak barrels for 16 months, 51% in new barrels and 49% in one-wine barrels.
