From a blend of 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet-franc, Le Versant 2019 impresses with its explosion of fruit as well as its concentration. In an assertive Bordeaux style, the Mitjavile cuvée nevertheless remains very accessible in the mouth. For a 2019 vintage, the wine already presents a very good drinkability, while retaining a good aging potential. Certainly superb value for money.

The nose: Black and red fruits (blackberry, wild strawberry), vanilla notes
The mouth: substance, a beautiful structure supported by silky tannins, aromatic power and a nice length
The advice of 12bouteilles: A wine that will sublimate a beautiful red meat, a poultry, a game, or even as an aperitif on a nice cold meats board.
