This was a superb year for Alto Jahuel, Casa Real 2020 reflects the balance and great depth of this fantastic vintage. The wine has an intense and deep ruby red colour, showing pure aromas of blackcurrants, strawberries, graphite and so spicy notes. The mouth is concentrated and precise with polished tannins that add texture. The wine showing rened tannins with a long and persistent nish.
The wine is produced 100% from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety.
All vintages of Casa Real Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon since 1989 derive from the sustainably-farmed Carneros Viejos Vineyard in the Alto Jahuel area of the Maipo Valley and located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. With perfect aspect and exposure, this exceptional old vineyard, planted in the 1970s, is farmed using the latest advances in precision viticulture.Laissez-vous charmer par sa couleur rouge-rubis profond et intense ainsi qu’un nez complexe en arômes de fruits rouges, de prunes, de cerises.
