Alexandre Thienpont defines his 2021 vintage as follows: Vieux Château Certan 2021 has many facets: it is characterised by its balance between freshness and roundness, fruit and aromatic persistence.
Vieux Château Certan covers 14 hectares and has been owned by the Thienpont family for over a century.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is 77%Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon.
12bottle suggestion: enjoy with delicate meats, suckling lamb from Pauillac for example. Serve around 15°C-18°C
