Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -La Gravette de Certan is the second wine of Vieux Château Certan, undoubtedly one of the best wines in the Pomerol appellation.
Made from young vines, La Gravette de Certan is a very precise wine, faithful to its terroir.
La Gravette de Certan 2022 immediately attracts with its deep ruby colour and delicate aromas of fresh, ripe, concentrated grapes.
The pure, taut attack on the palate is accompanied by notes of red and black fruit, and coated by soft, silky tannins.
With its balance, freshness and long-lasting aromas, this is a wine with character and a signature that will delight tasters for many years to come.
The blend for the 2022 vintage is 100% Merlot.
The wines were aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Vieux Château Certan covers 14 hectares and has been owned by the Thienpont family for over a century.
The 12bouteilles advice : Enjoy it with a delicate meat, a suckling lamb from Pauillac for example. Serve at around 15°C -18°C
