Wine crafted by their winemaker Montxo Martínez with the expertise of Jean-Claude Berrouet (Petrus) acting as close consultant oenologist.

The 2019 vintage is blend of Tempranillo 99 % and Merlot 1%
The wine is barrel aged 11 month in French Oak, 15% in new oak.
Tasting notes - VivaltuS 2019 vintage
This vintage has been affected by the drought, which, together with the regulation of the vines themselves after a generous vintage like 2018, has led to low yields.
Less structured than previous vintages, it is much more elegant, with the fragility and elegance of a ballerina.
The 2019 vintage has a Saint Emilion character without losing its Ribera del Duero identity.
Dress : Deep, intense red
Nose: Extraordinary nose of black fruit with hints of balsamic and spice, very complex, mysterious and seductive, with an explosion of aromas that gradually open up as the wine rests in the glass for a few minutes.
On the palate, we find a very elegant, silky, smooth wine of great complexity with magnificent acidity and freshness. All this gives us a sensation of balance, freshness and elegance, with a very long, hedonistic finish.
